This week, the Startup Apéro community gathered once again at its new usual place Silversquare, for an evening filled with inspiration and authentic conversations. Around 100 founders, CEOs, tech enthusiasts, investors and ecosystem enablers joined to hear from Felix Hemmerling, Founder of nø cap ventures and one of the entrepreneurial minds behind Kodehyve, Luxembourg Open Air, wagmi GP, and BlackShip Capital.
Moderated by Judith Schleder from Silicon Luxembourg, the fireside chat took the audience through Felix’s journey as a founder. Starting from his early beginnings and first ventures, to building a diverse portfolio spanning real estate tech, entertainment, finance and Web3, it’s clear that this entrepreneur has his hands full. He shared his experiences of turning ideas into scalable businesses, highlighting how adaptability and resilience have guided his approach to navigating across different sectors. The fireside chat also explored the realities navigating between multiple businesses, the value of surrounding yourself with the right people and balancing ambition with personal well-being in a fast-pasted startup environment. While entrepreneurship comes with challenges, Felix emphasized that staying grounded and leading with purpose are key to sustaining long-term growth.
After an engaging Q&A session, the evening continued with a pitching session, where emerging founders took the stage to present their ideas and projects. The event was rounded off by a networking session over beers and pizzas, where new connections were made and conversations continued late into the night.
