Twin brothers Bert and Rob Boerman have unveiled CARE, an intelligent onboarding platform developed under their new venture BlueCube, designed to simplify complex client and compliance processes through AI-driven automation.
“We’ve been building in stealth — as they say, in the garage,” said Bert Boerman at the launch. “Our goal with CARE is to solve real, complex problems that traditional workflows couldn’t.”
Built on BlueCube’s AI infrastructure, CARE uses teams of specialized AI agents to handle client, investor, and vendor onboarding. “Each agent works like a junior colleague — focused, transparent, and always following procedures,” explained Rob Boerman. “That combination of adaptability and control is what makes it powerful.”
“We care about onboarding — that’s what CARE stands for.”

A demo showed CARE creating a complete client file in minutes — reading handwritten notes, extracting data from documents, running KYC checks, and generating compliance reports, all with humans kept in the loop. “Users shouldn’t have to learn prompt engineering,” said Bert Boerman. “The AI should just work for them.”
After founding Governance.com in 2014, the brothers saw the potential of generative AI with GPT-3 and decided to build a platform that could bridge automation and intelligence. CARE will first target mid-sized financial institutions, with plans to expand to other sectors such as healthcare, aviation, and logistics through industry partners.
BlueCube’s business model combines platform fees, user licenses, and consumption-based credits, aligning the company’s growth with that of its clients. When asked about the risk of copy-cats, he responded: “Our best protection isn’t patents — it’s speed. By the time others try to copy us, we’ll already be ahead.”
With CARE, BlueCube aims to end the era of slow, paper-heavy onboarding. “We care about onboarding — that’s what CARE stands for,” said Bert Boerman.
