WIDE ANDCO, founded in 2013, empowers women in tech and entrepreneurship. From its roots as a non-profit to a social enterprise, it focuses on breaking barriers, offering digital training, and supporting women-led startups.
What’s the story behind WIDE ANDCO? What’s your mission?
WIDE ANDCO: We saw a gap in the digital world—too few women, too many barriers. So, back in 2013, we launched as a non-profit to get more girls and women into tech. Fast forward to 2022, we transformed into a social enterprise, expanding beyond digital skills to focus on inclusive entrepreneurship and impact-driven projects.
Our mission? Simple: make tech a space where women thrive, not just participate. We’re all about breaking down digital divides, equipping women with the skills they need, and proving that innovation is better when everyone’s included.
What kind of programs and initiatives do you offer?
WIDE ANDCO: We keep it practical, engaging, and—most importantly—accessible. Here’s how:
🔹 Digital Literacy & Training – We help people of all ages get comfortable with AI, cybersecurity, web development, and programming. Whether you’re coding for the first time or diving into digital project management, we’ve got you.
🔹 Awareness & Advocacy – We run initiatives with the Ministry for Gender Equality and Diversity, tackling bias in schools, workplaces, and beyond. Think Girls in ICT Day, Gender Equality in Schools, and Girls in Digital Week.
🔹 Entrepreneurship Support – Women-led startups? We’re here for it. Our Digital Project Lab helps turn ideas into working prototypes, and we bring together women founders annually to connect, share, and grow.
🔹 Impact Web Studio – This is a game-changer. We build websites, apps, and MVPs for early-stage entrepreneurs—fair pricing, real impact. Plus, we give women breaking into tech real work experience in web development, with a focus on no-code and AI.
“Let’s be real—tech still isn’t an easy space for women.”

What are the biggest challenges for women in tech, and how are you addressing them?
WIDE ANDCO: Let’s be real—tech still isn’t an easy space for women. The main challenges?
Bias & Stereotypes – Many women still hesitate to enter tech because they don’t see people like them in leadership. That’s why we push visibility, mentorship, and role models.
Limited Access to Training – Tech evolves fast, and training can be expensive. We keep our programs affordable (or free) and collaborate with the Digital Learning Hub and other partners to make learning opportunities widely available.
Entrepreneurial Barriers – Women founders often struggle with funding and resources. That’s why we provide hands-on support, networking, and real-world digital tools to help them scale.
What’s next for WIDE ANDCO? How can people get involved?
WIDE ANDCO: We’re thinking big. Over the next five years, we want to:
- Support even more women entrepreneurs in Luxembourg
- Create real job opportunities for women in digital fields
- Keep advocating for gender equality in tech—locally and across Europe
- Bring even more young people into the conversation
Want to be part of it? Whether you join a workshop, volunteer, or support a project, there’s room for everyone in this movement.
