ILNAS IS Organizing An Awareness Session On Technical Standardization In Data Governance And Cloud Environments
On Thursday, September 24, 2026, ILNAS will organize an awareness session “Technical standardization in data governance and cloud environments” aimed at presenting the role of technical standardization and relevant standards in this field.
Efficient data governance and the use of cloud environments support modern business operations, enabling scalability, collaboration and flexibility. However, the increasing complexity of both data ecosystems and cloud systems presents challenges in ensuring data integrity, security, interoperability and compliance. Technical standardization addresses these challenges by providing unified guidelines, fostering interoperability, and promoting best practices, helping organizations to maximize the value of their data and cloud-based services.
In this context, the European regulatory framework, notably the Data Governance Act and the Data Act, strengthens the requirements for data sharing, access and use, while highlighting the essential role of technical standards in ensuring interoperability, data portability, trust and compliance across digital solutions.
This information session will explore the challenges associated with data governance and cloud environments, taking into account the developments introduced by these European regulations, while highlighting the growing importance of technical standardization in an evolving digital landscape.
Registration requests must be sent to the following email address: [email protected], stating the participant’s surname, first name and email address, as well as the name of their organization.
