Fifteen startups have completed Luxembourg’s flagship acceleration programme, showcasing innovation across digital, health tech, and space sectors.
The 16th edition of Fit 4 Start — managed by Luxinnovation and backed by the Ministry of the Economy — wrapped up on June 10 at Luxexpo The Box, during Nexus Luxembourg 2026. Selected from a record 495 applications across 65 countries, 20 startups entered the six-month programme; 15 crossed the finish line. Each graduate receives €50,000 in funding, with up to €100,000 more available upon hiring and fundraising milestones.
The ceremony also marked a notable first: an AI Master of Ceremonies, co-created by Luxinnovation and OpenZone, hosted the entire event. Minister Lex Delles used the occasion to launch Fit 4 Start #17 — which introduces a fourth vertical, defence, alongside digital, health tech, and space, reflecting Luxembourg’s broader Defence Industry Strategy.
