Fifteen startups have completed the latest edition of Fit 4 Start, Luxembourg’s national accelerator programme. The graduates were announced during a ceremony at Luxexpo The Box, held alongside the Nexus Luxembourg 2025 conference.
The programme, now in its 15th edition, offers early-stage companies six months of coaching and up to €150,000 in public funding.
Startups incorporated in Luxembourg receive an initial €50,000. Those that go on to raise additional capital and create local jobs may qualify for further support.
420 applicants, 15 finishers
Fit 4 Start continues to draw international attention. The most recent call attracted 420 applications from nearly 70 countries, with 20 startups selected to participate across three focus areas: digital, health tech, and space. Of those, 15 reached the finish line.
The accelerator is run by Luxinnovation and supported by several national institutions, including the Luxembourg Space Agency, the House of Biohealth, and the LHoFT.
Since launching in 2015, it has backed nearly 200 startups from 35 countries. The programme has, to date, received more than 3,000 applications from around the world during the various calls.

A mixed cohort and a broader ambition
This year’s graduating startups reflect a diverse mix of technologies and backgrounds: from digital health to artificial intelligence, including cybersecurity and sustainable technologies.
While Luxinnovation positions the programme as a tool to boost the national ecosystem, it also plays a role in strengthening Luxembourg’s visibility within the wider European tech scene.
Earlier this year, a 10-point action plan presented by the Ministers of the Economy and Finance cited Fit 4 Start as one of several tools to foster tech entrepreneurship in the country.
New edition now open
Applications are now open for the next edition, Fit 4 Start #16. Twenty startups will be selected across the same three verticals, with finalists announced in October during the Luxembourg Ventures Days. The deadline to apply is August 11, 2025.
