The creative event around the conception of video games is back this year again ! May you be game designer, illustrator, UX designer, programmer or musician, beginner or professionnal, we wait for you from January 29th to 31th, 2016 at Epitech Nancy or at Technoport Luxembourg in order to create a video game during 48 hours !
What is a Game Jam?
A Game Jam is an event in which you can join a team, in order to create a video game on a given topic. You do not need to have a previous experience in video game domain, this event is open to everyone, no matter the profile, the age or the experience. It’s not a competition, but rather a sharing and learning moment, in addition to a personal challenge.
The Global Game Jam
In 2015, the Global Game Jam took place in 518 towns through 80 countries. Like each year, the date and the topic are the same in all participating towns, so everyone are in the same condition when it begins ! At the end of the event, every game will be published on the Global Game Jam website, then don’t hesitate to peek at what the others have done !
Registration
The number of entries is limited, the registration is mandatory, it is made through the Global Game Jam website. A support to the organisation fees of 30 euros is requested : drinks and food will be provided during the whole week-end.
