Job Today Raised $20 Million

Job Today, an easy-to-use app that connects employers and jobseekers in seconds, 24/7 has raised $20 million, bringing total investment in the company up to $30 million after a $10 million Series A last January.

The round was led by venture capital firm Flint Capital with participation from Facebook investor Accel Partners, Skype investor Mangrove Capital Partners, Felix Capital, Atresmedia, Channel 4’s Commercial Growth Fund and German Media Pool VC.

We use mobile technology to help people find a job in 24 hours. We are reducing barriers, and connecting people to jobs making opportunities available for everyone.

Launched in 2015, the Luxembourg startup is now operating in Barcelona, Madrid, London, and Paris, and is continuing to explore potential new markets, US and Germany particularly. The company is employing 50 people and is looking for new talents.

“We understand what it takes to get a job, because we have been there ourselves. We believe you’re better off speaking with employers directly without a million forms. With Job Today, jobseekers are ready to go in just a few taps and always hear back.”, says Job Today’s co-founder Eugene Mizin.

We have already attracted 2 million candidates and 150,000 businesses – including McDonald’s, Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Subway, and Holiday Inn – and are processing close to one million job applications every week.
