Luxembourg RegTech Kreios has entered into a strategic cooperation with German Investment Funds Association BVI.
According to the firm, the goal of this arrangement is to implement regulatory requirements for funds in Germany more efficiently, consistently, and ready for the future.
Founded in 2006, Kreios evolved from a custom software factory into a RegTech and compliance technology provider with a subsidiary in Miami.
Under the cooperation, Kreios will integrate the BVI’s standard modules for the PRIIPs Key Information Document into REGMATIX, its AI-driven compliance and oversight platform.
The integration enables fund management companies to receive regulatory expertise across the German fund market via digital validation rules and AI-supported checks. Customers can access these features regardless of whether or not they have BVI membership.
“Product governance, outsourcing oversight, and compliance reviews are evolving from manual controls to intelligent, AI-supported processes,” says Ulf Herbig, CEO of Kreios. “Together with the BVI, we are translating regulatory knowledge into scalable, automated control mechanisms for the first time, making regulatory requirements directly operational.”
