Luxembourg’s web portal for registering businesses, the Luxembourg Business Register (LBR) website has undergone a redesign in a bid to simplify online services.
Launched on Monday, the new platform includes step-by-step guidance to help users understand and complete administrative procedures, and a support form allowing users to ask questions or report any difficulties encountered while using the website.
According to a statement from the LBR, procedures are organised under four main categories, allowing simplified navigation and clear guidance for users:
- Register: allows the registration of a new company, association or branch with the RCS.
- File: allows the filing of documents with the RCS, such as amendments to articles of association, appointment of new representatives, filing of annual accounts, or declarations to the RBE.
- Consult: allows consultation of the files of companies and associations registered with the RCS/RBE, as well as publications available on RESA and REGINSOL. This category also provides access to statistics, legislative documentation and LBR circulars.
- Order: allows ordering of RCS/RBE extracts, as well as various certificates issued by LBR (for example, a certificate of non-registration of a court decision or a certificate of availability of a company name).
The LBR platform is the gateway for entrepreneurs in Luxembourg to formalise their activities, centralising information for the following services:
- The Electronic Compendium of Companies and Associations (RESA)
- The Trade and Companies Register (RCS)
- The Register of Beneficial Owners (RBE)
- The Register of Insolvency (REGINSOL)
