Ludwig de Carli has launched Leiven Group, a transformation platform built around a single idea: strategy, execution and performance should sit under one roof, one accountability.
For fifteen years, Ludwig de Carli watched transformation projects get stuck in the same place: between the strategy that gets approved and the results that get delivered. Now he’s launching Leiven Group to close that gap, bringing strategic advisory, technology delivery and performance under one single accountability.
“Everywhere, the same finding: the gap between strategy and reality in production,” he says of his career across both sides of the table. “Leiven was created to close that gap.”

For de Carli, the problem is structural. “Transformation programs rarely fail on vision. They fail at execution, when the one who decides, the one who builds, and the one who measures performance are three different actors, with no shared accountability. Leiven brings the three together under a single responsibility, from the board’s decision through to production.”
He also points to a shift in what clients expect. “Executives no longer buy promises, they buy measurable results,” he says, calling it the exact model Leiven was built on. Luxembourg, he adds, was a natural base: “a dense, demanding market where decisions move fast. A model that holds here holds anywhere.”
Independence is where de Carli gets most direct. “We can say no to a project, or make a counter-proposal, if we believe it won’t deliver the ROI or outcomes needed against its costs,” he says — summed up in the company’s motto, “Outcomes, by design.” The same discipline applies to AI: “Stop buying AI, start buying outcomes.”
Leiven already operates from Europe to the Middle East and Africa. The plan, de Carli says, is direct presence in fast-growing markets, with Asia next. “Success will always be measured at our clients’, in production, not in the slides.”
