Local Spring Market 2014 Organized By lët'z go local

After the success of the first market we were contacted by the Ville de Luxembourg to organise the market in collaboration with Ville de Luxembourg, and it will be now in May when the Local Spring Market will take place. Responding to superb feedback from our participants and the public we now decided to have a Spring and Autumn edition of the market each year.

There will be 50 stands at the market, and we will be running workshops during both days, so plenty of activities for the big ones and the little ones. We will have different categories of the stands from food&drink to design and fashion, so hopefully everyone will find something for themselves. During the market we will have the bar of the Foyer open, so public will be able to get some drinks and a bite.

We have 3 different market stands, suitable for all professionals! All marketing material is provided, as well as tables, and set up of stands.

OUR PAST EVENT:

Lët’z go local is a platform for local producers, designers, manufacturers and service providers. To know more please visit: www.letzgolocal.lu or our FB page: www.facebook.com/letzgolocal

Our first local market took place over the weekend in the beginning of October 2013 in Exit07, with 60 local producers, manufacturers and service providers; over the 2 floors in categories such as: design / fashion / kids / well-being / food&drink / leisure&culture / publishers / professional services.

During the 2 days we attracted way over 2000 visitors. And while the market stands and market participants were focusing on sales and networking we had some attractive activities going on along the market place itself. The focus of Saturday was life show cooking by luxembourgish chef’s, among which we had a Michelin Star. The food was also around the local concept, so the public could taste traditional luxembourgish dishes with a modern twist, prepared of course with local ingredients. In between the show cooking we had DJ’s entertaining the crowd.

Focus of Sunday was to allure families with kids, so we had all day kids workshop from juggling to making soft toys, run by local designers. In the afternoon, we were pleased to show Luxembourgish short animations from Fabrique d’Images on the big screen. During both days we had book signing sessions in the publisher’s corner, and outside of Exit 07 a brand new concept: Food Truck was serving local menu, based on some luxembourgish classics.
