Misch Strotz, CEO and co-founder of LetzAI describes his career trajectory as one driven by a fascination with social media and its narrative of bringing people together. He recounts his “pivotal moment” – his first encounter with Dall-E 2 – and how he reinvented himself for the age of AI.

Misch was always intrigued by technology’s potential to connect people. “Everything I’ve done has revolved around some form of social media,” said the CEO and co-founder of LetzAI, one of Luxembourg’s most forward-thinking Gen AI companies.

Starting his early career with projects such as podcasting, video blogging and one of Luxembourg’s first social media marketing companies LPod. However, Misch soon realized that the media landscape was constantly shifting. In 2018, he took this learning to create his current company Neon Internet. His work for the political sphere in election campaigns and later with the Luxembourg government during the pandemic emergency campaigns cemented his reputation as a leading social media strategist, but it didn’t leave him fully satisfied.

Social media was transforming, and Misch saw a pivotal moment in 2022 with the release of Dall-E 2. “When Dall-E 2 was released, I thought my professional life was over. This is going to change everything,” he recalls thinking. The disruptive potential of AI-generated content was clear to him right from the start. In fact, it was so transformative that Neon Internet pivoted its focus to fully embrace this new wave of media. “We let go of a handful of people at the company, not because of any shortcomings, but because the world was about to look very different, and we wanted to change with it.”

Misch’s passion for AI, particularly how it fits within the context of social media, grew from there. He believed the future was rooted in “infinite content creation,” a paradigm where AI could enable communities to create limitless amounts of media. With the ability to produce content faster and at a scale previously unimaginable, LetzAI was born.

“What excites me is how much potential there is, especially in education and enterprise solutions.”

Toward infinite content

Today, LetzAI has established itself as an AI social media platform, providing over 15,000 models for AI content generation. With more than 1,000 paying users and more than 40,000 sign-ups overall, the platform empowers brands and individuals to harness AI for social media and content creation. Misch’s partnership with GCore and NVIDIA’s Inception program played a pivotal role in the success of LetzAI, especially with the release of its version 3, which significantly “moved the needle” for the company. “What really pushed us forward was model V3, and now we’re working on expanding the platform’s capabilities even further.”

One of the aspects that differentiates LetzAI from some of the other AI platforms is its focus on giving brands new ways to engage with their audiences. With traditional media approaches becoming outdated, Misch emphasizes the opportunity for brands to embrace AI media: “Most brands are still stuck in the 2010 era, where everything had to be extremely brand-safe. With LetzAI, we’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with User Generated Content, helping brands engage with their audiences in a completely new way.”

Misch’s vision for the future of AI-powered content is ambitious but well-reasoned. He believes that AI will not only reshape how content is produced but also redefine how brands interact with their communities. With AI, brands can give their communities creative control, a process he describes as the third layer of media, after Brand Content and Social Media Content: “At some point, you get to the consensus of attention, where the most important thing in marketing is to have the best ‘memes’.”

Video integration and education

LetzAI has a long roadmap ahead of it. Video integration is one of the biggest milestones on their roadmap, a feature Misch sees as crucial for brands seeking to maximize their engagement through AI-generated content. Additionally, the company is expanding its enterprise features to allow brands to collaborate across teams and refine their AI content strategies further. Beyond this, LetzAI’s project with the Ministry of Education aims to develop white-label educational tools, bringing the platform to over 100,000 students across Luxembourg.

As Misch explains, “We’re still bootstrapped, but that’s been part of the journey. What excites me is how much potential there is, especially in education and enterprise solutions.”

LetzAI is not just about content creation. Misch is deeply interested in the implications of intellectual property (IP) and trademarks in the AI space. As AI-generated content becomes more commodified, these aspects will play an increasingly crucial role in protecting brands and their digital assets. With plans to expand into video and enterprise features, Misch and LetzAI are ready to redefine the relationship between AI, social media, and digital branding in ways that could shape the future of media.
