Ala Presenti, a co-founder of Luxembourg tokenised investing platform Investre, has scooped Startup Award at the 2025 Women in Tech Europe Awards.
Ala Presenti was recognised for her work in developing Moniflo, an app that simplifies and lowers the entry cost to investing using blockchain technology and fund tokenisation.
“This award is not only recognition for Investre and Moniflo, it’s a milestone for Luxembourg and for women across the European tech ecosystem,” Ala Presenti said in a statement, adding: “We’re no longer waiting for permission. We’re building, leading, funding, coding, and contributing to policymaking.”
With a background in finance, Ala co-founded Investre in 2020. Today she serves as CFO and ESG lead. Ala will next represent Europe at the WOMEN IN TECH® Global Finals in Paris on 14 November.
Investre was co-founded by former KPMG head partner Georges Bock. In January 2024, the firm raised €3m to expand into Germany. The following month, it launched the Moniflo app in Luxembourg. The platform helps all people, regardless of wealth or financial background, to start investing in regulated mutual funds with no minimum entry barriers, transparent costs, and a human-centred digital experience.
