Silicon Luxembourg successfully hosted the 4th Edition of The State of HealthTech event at Silversquare, bringing together key players from the luxembourgish startup ecosystem. Founders, CEOs, researchers, and public sector representatives gathered to explore Luxembourg’s current position in the HealthTech sector—and where it’s headed next.
The State of Healthtech is part of the State of event series, aligned with the release of the latest issue of the Silicon Luxembourg Magazine, and continues the mission of sparking discussions at the intersection of innovation, business and policy.
The conversation started off with a presentation by Matthieu Brachetti (CEO of Virtual Rangers) where he presented his work with virtual reality in medical training and by providing immersive and interactive experiences that can be used to simulate real-world scenarios allowing healthcare professionals to practice various procedures.
The sessions were moderated by Camille Saettle (Simmons & Simmons and Hassan Nada (Silicon Luxembourg) who explored Luxembourg’s growing role in healthcare innovation. Topics ranged from data privacy and cybersecurity to AI-driven diagnostics and decentralized trials and the speakers highlighted the country’s strengths, such as cross-border collaboration, advanced infrastructure, and strong public-private partnerships.
