The call for projects “Bye Bye Robots” was launched at the end of last year and many candidates responded to the call by GovTech Lab Luxembourg.

This call for solutions consists of finding a technological solution to replace the current system used by the State Information Technology Center (CTIE) to protect its information and communication systems from automatic access by computer robots.

A 6-member jury analyzed the ideas submitted on the basis of several criteria to determine, in particular, whether they are innovative compared to currently available market solutions and whether they have the potential to result in a finished product that corresponds to demand.

The jury selected five applications: Divlint, Vireo & Technology Partner, Ainos & Reborn, Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), Gravity Partners.

They will now move on to the next phase of the call for solutions, i.e. the prototyping phase.

The next step: The prototyping phase

The prototyping phase was launched on February 1, 2021, during a virtual meeting bringing together the Ministry of Digitalization, the CTIE, and all participants for an initial exchange between the different teams.

The prototyping phase will end with a Demo Day on March 18, 2021, during which the functional prototypes that meet the specifications required and respect the objectives set forth will be rewarded with a participation bonus of 5,000 EUR. In addition, the functional prototype that is deemed to be the most convincing will move on to the next phase of the innovation partnership.
