7 Logistics Startups In The Spotlight

C4L and Corp Pearls’ eighth matchmaking event shed light on low-energy logistics solutions from Luxembourg and Germany. 

Hosted by The House of Startups in the Big Bang room on 21 September, the event aimed to share solutions to supply chain challenges and partner startups with customers, finance and scaling solutions. 

Following a networking lunch, seven companies gave five-minute pitches about their startups to a room of logistics operators, investors, VCs and other stakeholders. 

These included: 

Circu Li-ion: A Luxembourg startup aimed at giving at a second life to used lithium battery cells from the kinds of batteries used in ebikes, escooters and in Tesla EVs. The firm is seeking industry partnerships and other partners.

Edag: An engineering company whose incubator has developed autonomous logistics vehicles and is looking to partner with airports and other logistics operators.

Flynex: A Saas to help companies automate infrastructure inspection data by providing a platform to connect drones and analytics tools to provide data processing. 

Rebolet: A returns management and recommerce platform which aims to prevent the waste of returned e-commerce items which cannot be resold. The firm is seeking to raise $2.5m for its next stage expansion.

Unleash Future Boats: A startup aimed at bringing down the 3.7% of CO2 emissions in Europe caused by maritime transport through its retrofitted zero carbon kits. The kits enable boats to run with fuel cells and green hydrogen. The startup was awarded best pitch by the audience.

Harven: A South Korean startup whose solution guarantees quality cold chain services by providing precise data on things such as delivery temperature, time, location and ID.

CoconutSilo: A Hyundai motor group spinoff aimed at optimising the logistics value chain. Its digital platform – COCOTRUCK offers a comprehensive cargo transportation solution, connecting cargo owners, logistics companies, and truck drivers in one place.
