Moovijob Week Luxembourg – Skills Day
As the labour market continues to evolve and the need for upskilling grows, Moovijob.com is launching the Skills Day, a new event dedicated to training, career development and career transitions, organised as part of the Moovijob Week Luxembourg.
Created by Luxembourg’s leading job board, the event aims to connect the public with training providers and organisations across Luxembourg, at a time when career paths are evolving rapidly and acquiring new skills is becoming increasingly important throughout working life. The first edition of the Skills Day is organised with the support of INFPC, the Institut National pour le Développement de la Formation Professionnelle Continue.
The digitalisation of jobs, changing employer expectations and the growing desire to retrain or specialise are making training a key issue in today’s labour market. The Skills Day will give visitors the opportunity to explore the wide range of training opportunities available in Luxembourg and speak directly with training centres, schools, institutions, specialised organisations and companies that provide training for their own employees. INFPC will also be showcasing lifelong- learning.lu, the national lifelong learning portal, at its stand. As a leading digital platform dedicated to skills development, the portal provides information and services for both individuals and businesses.
Around twenty companies and training organisations are expected to take part in this first edition, reflecting the growing interest in upskilling and career transitions.
Open to everyone, the Skills Day is aimed at business leaders, as well as jobseekers and employees looking to progress in their careers, explore a new professional path, or develop new skills.
The event will take place on 20th November 2026 at the European Convention Centre Luxembourg (ECCL) and will be free to attend for visitors.
