The Creative Young Entrepreneur Luxembourg (CYEL) is looking for a winner. Could it be you?

Nominations opened this month for the seventeenth edition of the Creative Young Entrepreneur Luxembourg prize, the grand duchy’s entrepreneurship contest for 18 to 40-year-olds.

Organised by the Luxembourg Young Chamber, contest participants do not necessarily need to be members to qualify. However, their business must be established in Luxembourg and have an RCS number.

To enter, founders must provide a strong business plan and be able to pitch the business and answer questions about it.

Applications close on 22 September, 2023. Ten finalists will pitch to a jury of experts on 6 October and the winners will be announced at a ceremony on 9 November.

The prize includes:

– 1st prize: €4,000, mentoring and a company presentation video;

– 2nd prize: €2,000 and a company presentation video;

– 3rd prize: €1,000 and a company presentation video.

Energy tech firm Circu Li-ion won the 2022 prize and was in 2023 selected to represent Luxembourg at the Startup World Cup in the US. The 2021 prize was awarded to Edutech startup Magrid. Entries can be submitted online via a dedicated website.
