Aureus Prize Awards Winners And Gets International Support

The second edition of the University of Luxembourg Incubator competition awarded startups from Hong Kong, Belgium and France. The prize also received two additional years of support and welcomed new partners from France and Hong Kong.

Launched by the non-profit Aureus Ars & Scientia in partnership with the University of Luxembourg Incubator, the Aureus Prize is a great opportunity for startups wishing to scale their businesses in the US.

“Our entrepreneurs will feel the vibe of entrepreneurship in the USA and have the chance to look for opportunities to grow their companies,” said Olivier Van Regemortel, managing director of Aureus Ars & Scientia.

This year, 17 startups from Belgium, France, Hong Kong and Luxembourg pitched their ideas to external executives. Among them, Luxembourg startups ANote Music, PE Cube and EmailTree. Startups from the University of Luxembourg Incubator – Move Me, URANUS Group, LegAI, Veezzy and Neural Wave – also got to present their startups to jury members and guests from the delegation.

The winners of this year’s edition – Retykle from Hong Kong, Spentys from Belgium and Winalist from France – will join the University of Luxembourg Incubator for their US immersion roadshow planned for this spring.

According to the press release, last year’s winner Juunoo made great strides in growing their business in the states gathering additional funding which has led the prize to extend the number of countries participating. This year’s success also saw the University Accelerator get two years of additional support from Beyond Orea Capital, Pulse Foundation and Le Village Crédit Agricole.
