More than 400 students participated in the 15th Luxembourg Training Company Fair on 6 December.

Organised by non-profit organisation Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg, this edition welcomed 21 companies from 13 different colleges to the Geesseknäppchen Forum to boost entrepreneurial knowledge and skills.

The Training Company scheme builds on the practice enterprise, a learning by doing project that became a compulsory course in the Luxembourg school curriculum in 2006.

Students develop a fictitious company integrated into a global network, allowing them to undertake commercial actions between themselves by simulating the real market. The goal is to put theory into practice and gain an overview of how a company functions.

The annual fair was an opportunity for Training Companies to meet one another and create business partnerships. Prizes were also issued for best dossier, best practices, best presentation, best training company, most innovative business and sustainable business.
