SUMMARY:Invitation: World Standards Day 2026
DESCRIPTION:ILNAS\, in collaboration with the University of Luxembourg\, will organize an event to celebrate the World Standards Day on Tuesday\, October 13\, 2026\, starting at 1:30 PM at the Chamber of Skilled Trades and Crafts in Luxembourg City.\nThe World Standards Day is an opportunity to celebrate technical standardization and highlight the collaborative efforts of the whole community involved in the domain. In this context\, ILNAS and the University of Luxembourg are organizing an event focused this year on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the links between standardization\, education\, and research. \nThe first part of the event will be dedicated to standardization in the ICT field. During this session ILNAS will notably present its new publication highlighting the benefits of technical standardization in the ICT sector for various socio-economic stakeholders. \nThe second part of the event will focus on the close links between technical standardization\, education\, and research\, illustrated by the fruitful collaboration between ILNAS and the University of Luxembourg\, particularly through several joint research programs. DESCRIPTION:EschTechWeek returns for its 3rd edition and\, this year\, it’s moving to new dates: save the date from 10 to 15 May 2027 in Esch-sur-Alzette. \nOrganised by The Dots together with the City of Esch-sur-Alzette\, this citizen tech week explores the theme “Citizen 3.0: Building the Cognitive City”: how AI\, citizens and technology are shaping cities that are smarter\, safer and more human. \nAfter two first editions held in March\, EschTechWeek this time makes its home in May. From 10 to 15 May 2027\, Esch-sur-Alzette once again turns into a genuine technology hub\, open to everyone.
