SUMMARY:LSTE 2026
DESCRIPTION:On 26 November 2026\, the Luxembourg Software Testing Event (LSTE) returns for its 8th edition at the Hôtel Parc Belle-Vue in Luxembourg City. \nA must-attend event for the Quality Assurance (QA) community in Luxembourg\, the event will bring together software testing professionals to discuss developments in the field\, the challenges posed by artificial intelligence and the sharing of experiences. On the programme: keynote speeches\, case studies\, hands-on workshops\, an introduction to new solutions and networking opportunities with experts. \nArtificial intelligence and the new challenges facing testing\nArtificial intelligence is transforming software testing practices and raising numerous questions. What will the role of the tester look like in the future? How can AI be integrated into quality assurance processes? To what extent can we trust automatically generated tests? And how can we develop our teams’ skills? \nThese questions will be at the heart of the discussions\, notably with Olivier Denoo\, Vice-President of the ISTQB\, who will explore the future of the testing profession over the next five years\, and Christophe Cressend\, CEO and co-founder of Agilitest\, who will present the possibilities offered by the generation of automated tests based on business requirements using AI. \nThe programme will also place a strong emphasis on practical insights and real-world challenges. Eric Riou du Cosquer\, a recognised figure in the international software testing community and chair of the ISTQB Foundation Level working group\, will share his expertise on improving the maturity and effectiveness of testing processes through the TMMi model. \nDominique Righetto (Thales) will present insights into the challenges of application security\, whilst Seung Yeob Shin and Domenico Bianculli\, researchers at the University of Luxembourg\, will share their work carried out in collaboration with Q-Leap on analysing real-world user behaviour and how this can be utilised to improve test automation\, particularly using the Q-Guard solution. \nKeynotes\, workshops and solutions to try out\nIn addition to the talks\, hands-on workshops will be held throughout the afternoon\, offering participants the opportunity to discover technologies\, experiment with new approaches and engage directly with experts on the solutions presented. \nOctoPerf\, Agilitest and Q-Leap will be offering workshops on performance testing supported by artificial intelligence and natural language processing\, the automation of functional testing\, and the challenges posed by secure environments\, using solutions such as Q-Guard and Q-Bot. \nThe exhibitors’ area will also bring together representatives from recognised industry solutions\, including Xray\, Semi and OpenText. This will provide participants with an opportunity to meet the experts behind these tools in person\, attend demonstrations and discuss their needs and day-to-day challenges. \nWith a programme featuring keynotes\, workshops\, demonstrations and meetings with software vendors\, LSTE will provide a platform to explore how major industry developments translate into practical applications in the field. \nThe meeting place for the QA community in Luxembourg\nMore than just a technology event\, LSTE is first and foremost a unique gathering for software testing and software quality professionals in Luxembourg. \nTesters\, quality engineers\, QA managers\, developers and IT experts from various sectors come together to compare their practices\, share their experiences and expand their networks. \nThis 8th edition will be hosted by Avanti Sharma\, a rising star in Luxembourg’s tech scene\, recognised by Forbes Luxembourg for her commitment to innovation and digital education. As Director of AI and Growth at Workshop4Me\, she will host the event and moderate a panel discussion\, fostering dialogue between speakers and participants. \nDiscussions will continue in the exhibitors’ area and during the networking drinks reception that will round off the day\, offering excellent opportunities to meet peers\, speakers and experts specialising in the solutions on display. \nOrganised by Q-Leap\, the LSTE has a clear ambition: to bring together the Luxembourg QA community\, encourage knowledge-sharing and create opportunities for networking that help drive the testing profession forward. \nPractical information\nLuxembourg Software Testing Event – 8th edition \n\nDate: Thursday 26 November 2026\nTime: 13h – 21h\nVenue: Hôtel Parc Belle-Vue\, Luxembourg City\nProgramme: keynote speeches\, case studies\, workshops\, demonstrations\, an exhibitors’ area\, a round-table discussion and networking\nAdmission: free\, subject to prior registration.
