Pitching and funding are inherent part of the journey of startup founders. Discover new tools to succeed and get inspired to pursue your project. This unique, one day conference is open to all (women & men) who are interested to get more insight into the startup world.
1. Pitching workshop
The way you pitch has a tremendous impact on your visibility and credibility. The first impression you make on investors, partners or clients can prevail on the success of your startup. During this interactive session with Florence Roux-Christmann we will share with you the different kinds of pitches. You will work in group on defining strong value proposition and how to be ready for any questions about your product. Together we will go through tips and hints to help you build a valuable pitch.
Florence Roux-Christmann is the new Head of Digital Ecosystem at Agglomeration de Thionville, France. She is a passionate business coach for entrepreneurs and has experience at setting up acceleration programmes. As a former director and Head of Operations at PwC’s Accelerator, she trained and coached startups for pitching competitions. Florence is also advisor for our Startup leadership programme.

3. Funding session
During this session you will get an overview of the funding process and opportunities for a startup including an introduction to seed funding, introduction to Angel and VC funding: what it is, why you need it, and how to get it. The session gives a pragmatic overview of the whole fundraising journey, from preparing your story and finding the right investors to negotiating term sheets and valuation. This session is led by Dara Nikolova and organised in partnership with LBAN.
Dara Nikolova has thirteen years of experience in corporate strategy and asset management. working for Morgan Stanley, Hamilton Lane Advisors, Microsoft and Google. She is also supporting entrepreneurs as an investor and advisor. She currently manages innovation projects at SES and is a member of LBAN and the board of the INSEAD Alumni Association in Luxembourg.
