🚀 Techie Night #22 x University of Luxembourg

Calling all Techies!

On the 20th March we are inviting you to our Techie Night #22 with the University of Luxembourg! The event specifically for tech-geeks, developers, engineers and CTOs to discuss, network and examine innovative technologies that are pushing the digital industry forward.

The event will take place at Maison du Savoir, room 3370 at Campus Belval.

Agenda:

• 6.00pm: Check-in & Welcome
• 6.30pm: Welcome Words by Silicon Luxembourg
• 6.35pm: Introduction words by Christophe Ley: Introduction of the Master of Data Science and Team MIDAS, 30 minutes / Present activities of MIDAS (Modelling – Interdisciplinary – Data – Applied – Statistics) & current collaborations with non-academic partners.
• 6.50pm: Tech Talk by Jack Hale: Future frontiers in Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) / CSE research plays a key role in addressing a multitude of important environmental and technological challenges. The talk will give an overview of a few of these challenges, and the necessary algorithmic, computational and engineering developments that must be tackled by CSE researchers in order to enable future successes.
