Call For Applications For The First Luxembourg Acceleration Bootcamp

Organized by the House of Startups (HoST) and designed especially for mature startups, the Luxembourg Acceleration Bootcamp (LAB) announced the full programme and guest speakers for its first edition.

A four-day programme from 20 to 23 May focusing on growth acceleration, fundraising, and European expansion for a select group of mature startups chosen to attend the LAB following an application process.

The LAB will start on Monday, 20th May at the House of Startups and will focus on fundraising with workshops and keynotes featuring Nicolas Valaize (House of Startups), Jean-Michel Ludwig (Luxinnovation), Larissa Best (LBAN), Jerome Wittamer (Expon Capital), and Markus Willms (European Investment Bank). Startups and partners will then be invited to conclude this first day with a networking reception hosted by the House of Startups.

On Tuesday, 21th May and Wednesday, 22th May, the LAB’s selected startups will have free access to ICT Spring, Luxembourg’s Global Tech Conference taking place at the European Convention Center. Selected startups will also have the amazing opportunity to register to the b2fair® Business Meetings powered by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and its Enterprise Europe Network. This international matchmaking event offers participating startups the possibility to find the right business partner and encourages strategic partnerships in the ICT community in Europe & beyond. The novelty of this edition will be the “b2fair Mentor Meetings” giving young entrepreneurs the opportunity to meet corporate representatives and getting tips on various subjects such as scaling up, investment opportunities and more.

The LAB will then resume at the House of Startups on Thursday, 23rd May with more workshops and keynotes on how to expand to European markets. Daniela Cedola and Catherine Frideres (PwC Luxembourg), Eugene Mizin (Job Today), Christophe Folschette (Talkwalker), Mathias Schmitt (DDG:IX), Prof. Dr. Matthias Baum (University of Kaiserslautern), and Tatjana von Bonkewitz (Hofstede Insights) will headline the final day of the LAB.

To attend this first edition of the LAB, mature startups should submit an application before 30th April. The selected startups will be announced at the beginning of May. For more details on the programme and on how to apply, please go to lab.host.lu.
