Choose your budget and your dates and the mobile application will give you the choice between a large set of destinations leaving from various airports! The team is currently trying to get €6,000 with a crowdfunding campaign on Ulule to build the MVP – Minimum Viable Product – and officially launch the app. We asked Nessim Medjoub to give us more details about the project.
What is the purpose of your startup?
￼The purpose of the startup is to simplify the life of people by offering a new and different intuitive ￼approach of traveling searching evolving with people’s mentalities and make it accessible and easy. ￼￼In a nutshell, Clickbye’s mission is to allow people to travel more often in a more intuitive ￼manner.
What products/services do you offer?
￼Clickbye is a travel inspiration app that allows people to search for a flight according your budget, the ￼period and your airport departure. Moreover, the app has an instant messaging so once you create a ￼profile, you can share and discuss with your friends about the findings within the app.
￼What is your business model?
￼Clickbye isn’t taking any extra commission on the client, the traveler. Our commission is only paid by flight companies each time a Clickbyer takes a flight ticket through our app.
Who are your customers/clients?
Our customers are travelers around the world technically. But our first focus will be Luxembourg, France and Belgium, especially Luxembourg as many people start working here through an internship or a first contract. Even if salaries are higher in Luxembourg, the cost of living is higher too so to have a traveling budget is not easy for everyone. So to travel more often, people do not travel from Findel, they travel from Zaventem, Charleroi or Frankfurt and even sometimes Paris. And it takes a lot of time to find the right destination within your budget from 5 airports.
￼Who are your competitors?
Our main competitors are current well-established flight comparators such as Skyscanner, Opodo, ￼Kayak or Liligo but they don’t have the same approach as we do. Their core business is not travel ￼inspiration.
What are the next steps of your strategy?
We are currently in the process of a crowdfunding campaign on the 1st European Crowdfunding site, Ulule. We are the only technological campaign from Luxembourg. Once the campaign is successful – and we hope so -, we will have a Minimum Viable Product that we will share. We also want to participate to several contests in order to improve the quality of our product and to communicate on it in Luxembourg, France and Belgium to start.
