EU Parliament Chooses Luxembourg Consortium To Digitally Transform

CGI, Uni Systems and EDDA Luxembourg will oversee the design, development, integration, maintenance and modernisation of the European institution’s core business systems.

“The European Parliament has chosen a consortium composed of CGI in Luxembourg (lead partner), Uni Systems, and Edda Luxembourg to oversee the management and modernisation of its core business systems,” the institution announced in a recent press release.

The three companies will provide end-to-end systems management services, including analysis, design, development, integration, deployment, maintenance and modernisation for numerous information and communication technology (ICT) systems, both existing and new.

The support includes core business functions related to legislation, budget and parliamentary operational tasks, as well as political engagement and relationship management.

The framework contract has an initial two-year duration, with the option of up to two one-year renewals, for a maximum value of €89 million.

“The consortium will enable the European Parliament to digitally transform its operations, driving efficiencies and cost savings, as well as improving its legislative services for the ultimate benefit of citizens across Europe,” the press release added.
