EY Luxembourg launches the 6th edition of its “Entrepreneurs de l’Année” competition. The purpose of this competition is to celebrate entrepreneurship and its positive impact on the economy, environment, and innovation in Luxembourg.
The competition aims to recognize exceptional entrepreneurs and their contribution to creating value and employment in the country. You can now apply online.
To be eligible for the award, the participating entrepreneurs must have a minimum of 10% stake in the company, run a business established in Luxembourg with at least 3 years of existence and an annual turnover of 2.5 million euros or more. Candidates who meet these criteria will be invited for an interview with EY Luxembourg professionals to submit a detailed analysis of their business for evaluation by an independent jury.
The competition is open to all entrepreneurs who have a sense of strategy, competitiveness, global outlook, and sensitivity to environmental, social, and governance criteria. The winner of the competition will be announced in November at a gala evening where six finalists will be named in October.
The jury for the competition includes representatives from the economic world with recognized experience and objectivity, such as the President of FEDIL, the Confederation of Luxembourg Commerce, and the Federation of Young Business Leaders. The jury is chaired by Michèle Detaille, the President of FEDIL. The winner of the competition will also participate in the international competition “World Entrepreneurs of the Year” in June 2024 in Monaco and have the opportunity to join a community of Luxembourgish and international entrepreneurs.
The EY Entrepreneur of the Year program has been operational for more than 30 years, and it is now in more than 60 countries and 145 cities worldwide. The program aims to recognize exceptional entrepreneurs, create networks and communities, and inspire generations of entrepreneurs to come.
