Start-ups in the ICT and space technology sectors are invited to participate in the 11th edition of Luxembourg’s acceleration programme Fit 4 Start. Successful candidates will benefit from 20 weeks of personalised coaching and grants of up to €150,000. The calls are now open until 15 April 2021.
Launched in 2015 by the Ministry of the Economy, and managed by Luxinnovation with the support of Technoport and the Luxembourg-City Incubator, Fit 4 Start has, in a few years, become the leading programme for launching and accelerating startups in Luxembourg.
Fit 4 Start provides entrepreneurs with intense coaching, attractive pre-seed funding and access to key networks.
The international character is growing from edition to edition. Over 1,800 start-ups applied to the first 10 editions of the programme. 78 start-ups participated in the various support sessions and 56 graduated. The start-ups participating in the first 9 editions of Fit 4 Start have raised, since their creation, a total amount of more than €15.2 million from private investors.
476 start-ups from 60 countries responded to a call for applications launched last summer for the 10th Fit 4 Start edition.
The Fit 4 Start programme continues to evolve. The next step has just been determined, with the call for applications to the 11th edition that was launched on 15 March 2021.
The calls for applications for ICT and space startups are now open! Interested startups will need to submit their applications by 17:00 on 15 April 2021.

• What added value would you say Luxembourg brings to your business model and strategy?
Jonathan Kindermans, Co-Founder Kidola: Luxembourg is a small market which allowed us to grow with little competition while having easy access to the rest of Europe. With the network of the Fit 4 Start team, it’s really easy to reach the right people and move forward with the project.
• From your perspective, what are the key takeaways from the programme so far?
Adriano Fontanari, Business Development Associate, PatchAI: The Fit 4 Start program has helped us to clarify our value proposition and competitive positioning, as well as to critically evaluate our expansion strategy.
