Following the launch of a group of satellites is always exciting, even more so when the company has its HQ in Luxembourg. Kleos Space‘s four satellites will launch from the Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

The Transporter-4 mission will significantly increase Kleo’s global data collection capabilities by an additional 119 million km2 per day. Furthermore, it will increase the average daily revisit rate over a 15-degree latitude area of interest to around five times a day.

While the conditions for the launch are never guaranteed, the forecasts estimate a 30% chance of good conditions, with the live stream indicating a liftoff for 18:24 CEST tonight.

The US launch provider Spaceflight Inc. will support the launch and deliver the Kleos Patrol Mission (KSF2) satellites into orbit.
