Together with Simmons & Simmons , Silicon Luxembourg invited key representatives of the Luxembourgish healthtech ecoystem to join for a breakfast at Simmons & Simmons to present and discuss crucial topics in the luxembourgish Healthtech Landscape and digital life science.
The conversations were kicked off by a presentation by Prof. Dr. Med Jochen Klucken, Chair of Digital Medicine at the University of Luxembourg on the development of a digital software for patients with Parkinson’s disease. Olivier Mignolet, Partner at Simmons & Simmons; Healthcare & Life Sciences continued the presentation depicting the comprehensive applicable regulatory framework for such digital medical devices.
The roundtable discussion with Jerome Wittamer, Co-founder & Managing Partner at Expon Capital, Jean-Phillipe Arié, Healthtech Cluster Manager in Healthtech at Luxinnovation and Cédric Spaas, General Manager at Arspectra, provided further perspectives on challenges and outlooks talent acquisition, investment decisions and intellectual property strategies in this sector.
With new insights and viewpoints on evolutions in the luxembourgish digital healthcare sector obtained participants were able to continue the discussion during the following networking session.
