For the second Founders Visit, Silicon Luxembourg had the opportunity to bring the members of the Founders Club to visit MeluXina at LuxConnect data centre in Bissen.
A limited group of founders, corporate professionals and institutional representatives were able to join the visit to Luxembourg’s supercomputer.
The visit started off with a short introduction speech by the LuxProvide team; Luisa Marchina (Marketing & Corporate Communications Officer), Alban Rousset (Business Development Executive & Scientific Advisor) and Filipe Pais (Chief Customer Officer) about MeluXina and then continued with a tour through the facilities and to the supercomputer itself.
The whole tour was guided by the team with presentations and explanations on the computers name origin and of course it’s impressive features and capabilities in processing large volumes of data and performing complex calculations at high speed.
The visit ended in a small networking session where members could connect and further discuss business and ask any open questions they had.
