True to its long-standing commitment to innovation, Foyer Group held its 6th Hackathon on 11 and 12 December. This year’s internal innovation challenge brought together some 30 participants and their 20 coaches around a highly topical subject: generative artificial intelligence.

An unavoidable development of our time, a theme such as Generative AI reflects Foyer’s strategic vision, a vision that looks to the future and is anchored in a dynamic of technological progress. It underlines the Group’s ongoing commitment to positioning itself at the cutting edge of technological advances, to anticipate the future needs of its customers, whether in insurance or asset management.

Because a hackathon is always part of an approach that aims to offer new solutions to new needs.

Of course, the Foyer Hackathon is also synonymous with cooperation. Not only from the teams, who compete in ingenuity to bring their ideas to life, but also from an entire ecosystem, of which Foyer is a part. Such synergies invariably lead to the emergence of disruptive solutions.

The collaboration with partners such as the House of Startups, the Chamber of Commerce, and the participation of Microsoft underline Foyer’s inclusive approach. This broader cooperation strengthens the exchange of ideas and encourages a diversity of perspectives. In this respect, the availability of a venue as inspiring as the HoST Big Bang, as well as the contribution of Microsoft, world leader in technology, with its Copilot tool, to the teams’ thinking, are all assets that Foyer and its employees were able to rely on to achieve great things in just two days.

Now in its sixth year, this annual event is no longer just a way for Foyer to maintain its position as leader in the Luxembourg insurance market, but also to challenge collective intelligence in the service of current trends. Beyond its one-off aspect, this event is shaping a future where insurance is inseparable from constant innovation.
