We are looking for a cutting-edge full-stack developer who is willing to take responsibility in a powerful startup environment. Your responsibility is to develop and enhance our innovative technology in close cooperation with the current team and the open-source community.

This involves among others the design and implementation of JSON-based APIs, NodeJS architectures on top of multi-language frameworks and latest MV* flavors as Angular, React or Vue.

Your tasks
  • Collaborate with our open-source community
  • Extend the core of Yotako working closely with our back-end and front-end engineers.
  • Design new algorithms that will positively expand the technology in a creative way for multiple programming languages and frameworks
  • Follow the planning, respect the architecture, integrate and develop efficient and
    transferable back-end and front-end features using multiple development stacks
  • Pay attention to detail and potential performance weak spots
  • Find and share front-end best-practices with team members and other developers
Skills & Requirements
  • You have experience with Javascript (and frameworks like Angular / React) and APIs (both using them and creating them)
  • Experience with semantic HTML5, CSS3 and a CSS preprocessor of your choice
  • You have some experience (either real working experience or open source projects)
  • You know that Mocha is not just a type of coffee and Chai not just tea
  • You have experience with automation tools like Gulp, Webpack, Grunt or Yeoman
  • The quality of your code is important to you
  • You are creative and care about good design and user experience
  • You have experience using GIT
  • You possess very good skills in English. Any additional language is highly appreciated
  • You have a certain devops culture (comfortable with Docker and/or AWS) are a plus
  • Experience with open-source projects is a real plus
  • Bonus: experience with Isomorphic JavaScript and Server Side JavaScript
