With over two decades of experience, Wedgwood will play a key role in shaping Gcore‘s global strategy.

Wedgwood’s expertise is expected to significantly impact Gcore’s growth, leveraging his success in the gaming sector to drive the company’s expansion. Andre Reitenbach, Gcore’s CEO, expressed excitement about having Wedgwood on board, emphasizing his importance in advancing Gcore’s mission.

“As a company with outstanding network performance, providing easy-to-use, innovative, and secure solutions to the world’s leading organisations, I strongly believe that Gcore is helping to shape the future of the internet. I look forward to working with a dedicated team and board focused on improving the web experience for all of us,” says Wedgwood.

Wedgwood’s gaming career began in the late ’90s, leading Clan EarthQuakers and later becoming one of the world’s first eSports TV presenters. In 2001, he founded Splash Damage, achieving success with titles like “Wolfenstein” and “Gears of War.” After selling Splash Damage in 2017, Wedgwood founded Supernova Capital LLP and oversaw successful ventures, including the sale of Flying Wild Hog to Embracer for $137 million in 2019.
