The Luxembourg-based fintech was awarded best pitching cybersecurity startup, among eight participants, during the Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg.

On 20 October 2022, the National Cybersecurity Competence Center of Luxembourg (NC3) organized a pitching contest for cybersecurity startups at Luxexpo The Box. The event was held during the Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg (CSWL 2022).

“This is the first time that we organize such event,” said Kadri Bussov, the organizer, who is also the legal adviser at NC3 and LHC.

The following eight startups were competing following a preselection:

They presented their innovative cyber-solutions on the main stage of the event, in front of investors and cybersecurity experts.

The jury members were Christophe Bianco (Managing Partner, Excellium Services), Pascal Bouvier (co-founder and manager Middlegame Ventures), Teona Khubutia (Luxembourg Business Angels Network) and Carlos Munos (financial advisor on innovative initiatives for Europe at the European Bank of Investment).

SUB7, Phinasoft and Grace Connect were first selected for the final. They received an exclusive invitation to the Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg Gala & Awards Night held the same day.

During the Gala, Grace Connect was awarded best pitching startup. The Luxembourg-based fintech specializes in the implementation of non-financial risk management frameworks for financial institutions.

The startup will benefit from NC3’s support programs starting in January 2023, including among others EU fundings.

The event was an excellent occasion to network and meet potential customers and partners, and to receive invaluable feedback and visibility,” Kadri concluded.
