Are you a new entrepreneur in Luxembourg? Do you have a brilliant idea and don’t know where to start? Have you already launched your business but need advice on how to grow it? Then you’re in luck because Luxembourg’s startup ecosystem is all about mentoring and coaching. Whether it’s connecting you to the right experts or finding you a mentor ‘just right’ for your business, the startup community here will make sure you get the help you need!

Business Mentoring Luxembourg is a mentoring program set up by the Chamber of Commerce that has been helping entrepreneurs for over a decade. The program focuses on the managers of SMEs and wants to make them feel less ‘alone’ while solving business problems. It connects entrepreneurs with individual mentors and has multiple formats wherein experts help business managers solve problems related to business development, finance, and strategy, among other things. It even has a ‘Reverse Mentoring’ Program through which younger mentors can help with the digitization of an existing business and help it adopt the latest trends.

Nyuko, a Luxembourgish non-profit organization, supported by public and private entities such as the Chamber of Commerce, supports budding entrepreneurs with launching their businesses. This support is free and helps entrepreneurs by challenging them through workshops, individual coaching, and an online community. It also provides them with the tools and framework required to conceptualize, test, and build on their business ideas.

The Venture Mentoring Service of the University of Luxembourg, which helps university students, staff and alumni turn their business ideas into reality, is another exciting program. The program is licensed under MIT’s own Venture Mentoring Program and aims to bridge the gap between university education and the professional world by providing even non-business students the opportunity to learn all about building and running a successful business. Entrepreneurs in the program can also benefit from the teachings of more than 65 sister programs all over the world!

The Luxembourg-City Incubator, which is 2000 sq. meters of pure startup buzz, also has a Startup Support Program. The program helps entrepreneurs create opportunities by connecting them to a rich network of experts, getting them media attention and even connecting them to prospective clients. Furthermore, a startup working out of the incubator also has access to some very exciting workshops, conferences, and informal networking opportunities. Doesn’t this sound like the perfect space for some out-of-the-box thinking?

If you’re looking for something just a little different from the above, Luxembourg also has incubators like Technoport, accelerator programs like the Fit 4 Start, pre-seed accelerators like the Founder Institute and programs like the Startup Leadership Program by WIDE which is specifically for female entrepreneurs.

What are you waiting for? Identify the help you need, choose the program that’s right for you and let someone help you change the world or at least your business!
