IVC Announces New Investment And Board Members

The Luxembourg private equity firm Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital adds two new members to the investment team and two to the governance side.

On the investment side, Quentin Dupraz joins Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital as Principal. Previously, he worked in the Corporate Venture Capital department of Encevo, a utility based in Luxembourg, and invested in early-stage cleantech companies for the past six years. 

Daphne Dijkstra joins the investment team as an Investment Associate. She previously worked as a Junior Wealth Manager with UHNWIs. She holds a Master’s degree in Wealth Management from the University of Luxembourg and is an EFPA-certified European Financial Planner. Daphne is also an ambassador of the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) and was part of the 2022 Venture Capital Scholars programme.

On the governance side, Martin Vogel and Marc Schmitz join the board of directors of IVC’s general partnership IV GP sarl.

Martin Vogel is a Swiss attorney-at-law and alumnus of IMD and INSEAD. He was the managing director and member of the Executive Management Committee of Julius Baer Asset Management in Zurich. Currently, he is the CEO Europe and global head of strategy at Waystone, which currently serves assets under management in excess of USD 2Tn.

Marc Schmitz is a former partner and board member at Ernst & Young (EY) in Luxembourg. He spent more than three decades advising large multinational clients on cross-border corporate investment and financing projects. In addition to his client work, he served as EY’s tax and policy leader, representing the firm in various public tax working groups.
