Executive Director at Accentaigu and Managing Director of the CK Group and entrepreneur at heart, Laure Elsen tells us more about CK’s latest services and solutions as well as their Tomorrow’s Office event taking place on 19-20 October.

You are the founder and executive director of the events and communications agency Accentaigu as well as the managing director of the CK Group. How do you split your time between these commitments?

Honestly, it’s not always easy to manage, but I usually work half days, for Accentaigu and for CK Group. However, at the moment I’m focusing on CK because of the event “Tomorrow’s Office” where I’m also helping to organise.

What helps a lot is having a great qualified and engaged team around me in both companies who support me and help me stay on top of the newest developments. Nowadays, due to our remote working capabilities, it is also easier to manage my different responsibilities because it doesn’t matter which office I’m working from.

Apart from its Sport & Fitness branch, CK also has an Office Technology branch. What is the focus of the latter?

Our slogan at CK is “healthy people, healthy business”, so we try to combine these two aspects as much as possible. But the aim of our office technology division is to improve the office environment and to make it as simple and efficient as possible.

To do this, we do not only sell printers, ink and scanners, among other things, but also various SaaS products such as audiovisual software, computer software and document management software. We provide both, our own solutions and work with various partners. For a complete list, you can visit our website.

You mentioned you are one of the organisers of CK’s Tomorrow’s Office event. What is it about and what are your goals for it?

The aim of the event is to bring together professionals, entrepreneurs and partners related to our business and to take a look at the office of tomorrow together. On the one hand, the event will allow us to exchange ideas and visions of the future and on the other hand, it will be an event where we will present our latest products and solutions.

For us it is an opportunity to meet our customers and prospects, to present our business activities and to show them how we can support them in different areas such as IT, office printing, large format, post-printing, solutions, etc.

During the event we will also share some of the success stories we have had with our customers such as the Chamber of Métiers, there we will show how our different services harmonise together.

“The idea is that all companies should be equipped with solutions that enable their digital transformation.”

First, it is important for the different businesses to have the right IT equipment for their needs. Collaborative working tools and modern IT applications seem to be essential to get through the era of hybrid working.

It is a fact that employees now work and communicate from anywhere, without being physically in the same office. The easiest way to collaborate effectively is often to standardise these tools and make them easily accessible, whether in the office or remotely. This applies to all areas and can be adapted to suit specific needs and applications.

One of our advantages is that we have been in business for 75 years and have extensive knowledge of the needs of SMEs. In addition, we have a highly experienced after-sales team that can be at your office in a short time, helping you with everything from cyber security to the installation of our EDM tool or shared IT manager.

Which talks or exclusive visits should not be missed by our readers?

I would suggest taking a look at the programme and to register for the event or the exclusive tours that are most relevant to your interests (they are all free). Personally, I find the lectures on AI and cyber attacks very interesting. In our programme we have tried to offer a mix of products, presentations and hot topics so that everyone can find something that suits them.

We will also open the doors of our scanning and printing department for an exclusive tour. We’ll take you behind the scenes of our service department and let you try out our AIRxTOUCH, an innovative and interactive touchless display developed by iNUI, which is a lot of fun. Finally, we will also have free coffee and food to get you through the day.

In your vision of the future, what does the ideal office look like?

Our vision of tomorrow’s office is already taking shape today. We are constantly looking for a long-term vision and we offer solutions and products that correspond to the needs of the market and its evolution. The idea is that all companies should be equipped with solutions that enable their digital transformation.

According to a survey we have conducted amongst approximately 1000 of our customers, there are too many who have not yet made this step. Sometimes because of fear, sometimes because of lack of resources and very often because of lack of time. That’s why we are now offering a new shared IT manager service (which will be presented for the first time at Tomorrow’s Office) to help enterprises achieve their own vision of the office of the future without wasting time.
