Miranki, a new communication tool inspired by the struggles of one man’s refugee parents could help companies free up time dealing with routine customer exchanges.
Helping people to communicate is important for Minh Hoang Nguyen. When his refugee parents fled Vietnam for Belgium in 1982, he witnessed their daily language difficulties.
“I can still picture my father at our small kitchen table, his forehead wrinkled in concentration as he tried to decipher official letters. My mother would sit beside him, clutching a dictionary, both of them spending hours trying to understand and respond to simple correspondence,” Minh recalls.
“AI is like fire. You know that it’s a new invention that can be used for good, like fire, or bad, depending how you use it.”

He quickly became their “little helper”, taking pride in making it easier for his parents to communicate. In 2018, Minh faced a similar communication blockage, this time following the birth of his second child. “I wanted to share my joy with friends and family, but they were scattered across various platforms,” he said, adding: “The fragmentation of modern communication suddenly struck me as a problem needing a solution and especially avoiding procrastination.”
The opportunity to work on that solution himself arose in 2021 when Post Luxembourg, where Minh has worked since 2017, introduced its Kickbox innovation programme.
Minh developed his first application, Sendplify, a multilingual messaging app aimed at helping postal workers with admin tasks like contacting work to announce a sickness, for instance. Today, the app offers 40,000 message templates covering everything from booking a tyre change to announcing a birth. These can be used across the most common communication apps. And, since Sendplify leverages generative AI to help users write new messages and add tone, there is no limitation to the number of messages possible.
“I use it frequently because for me, the problem is that I know I need to send a message. But it’s what I call procrastination,” said Minh.
Sendplify is the only project that Post incubated which evolved into a startup: Miranki.
The startup’s name, which means the “life force of fire” in Minh’s parents’ language, was important for a project built around generative AI.
“AI is like fire. You know that it’s a new invention that can be used for good, like fire, or bad, depending how you use it,” Minh explained, adding: “For me, Miranki is about bringing AI to everyone, just like humans have mastered fire.”
“[…] any action initiated by an AI agent should be validated by a user.”

Sendplify, which is publicly available through a freemium and premium subscription, currently counts 250 users and is growing.
In 2025, Minh and his team launched B2B platform Sendplex, which leverages AI agents for companies handling large volumes of customer service requests. AI agents are able to perceive an environment, and take actions autonomously in order to achieve goals. At the same time, their performance can be constantly improved with learning or acquiring knowledge.
In a business context, Sendplex’s AI agents can assist in streamlining interactions in sales, billing services, technical and customer support, freeing up human assistants to focus on value-added work.
Among the many use cases for Sendplex, Minh cited colleagues who handle GDPR requests from the public to have their data erased. “AI agents can handle those requests and take action to delete a record related to the individuals,” he said, stressing: “Of course, any action initiated by an AI agent should be validated by a user.”
Companies can sign up for Sendplex AI agents on a monthly subscription model.
