Looking to give back? Luxembourgish SMEs, here’s your chance

The best way to feed into Europe’s entrepreneurial community is to prepare its future members. The European Union’s Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program takes this idea to heart and hopes SMEs in Luxembourg will take part.

The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) program is a transnational exchange program that provides young entrepreneurs with the chance to get hands-on training with experienced, small- and medium-sized business owners and managers, ultimately giving them the necessary skills for the healthy management of a small company.

In exchange, companies accommodating Young Entrepreneurs benefit from a fresh perspective and foreign market insight. Who doesn’t need a fresh look on their product? The EYE program allows SMEs to get feedback from serious candidates who have already demonstrated great perseverance independently. In addition, it can serve as unique insight on foreign markets and tendencies. SMEs looking to crack a new market can get an inside look with an EYE participant.

Candidate profiles

The two primary credentials for participation are relatively general:

  1. Be a young entrepreneur seriously looking to expand a personal project that has already
begun within the past three years.
  2. Be an experienced entrepreneur who owns or runs a small- or medium-sized company in a participating country (Luxembourg is a participating country).
