Luxembourg’s First Visual Studio Meetup For Developers

To mark the launch of Microsoft’s Visual Studio 2017 on March 7, XABLU, which recently became a Visual Studio Alliance Partner, is hosting Luxembourg’s first meetup for enthusiasts of the development platform.
“We’re very excited to branch out to Luxembourg and plan to host regular events here such as meet-ups and hackathons for app developers” – Eric Slaagers, CEO of XABLU

Taking place at The Office coworking space in the heart of Luxembourg City, the free event will feature a broadcast of the Microsoft live stream with industry leaders such as Julia Liuson, Brian Harry, Miguel de Icaza, and Scott Hanselman presenting the newest innovations in Visual Studio, .NET, Xamarin, Azure, and more. This will be followed by informal discussion and networking, with food and drinks offered by XABLU.

XABLU is a growing enterprise mobile app development firm based in the Netherlands that is passionate about creating local communities of developers. The only Xamarin Premier Consulting Partner with a 100% focus on Xamarin technology, XABLU runs active Meetup.com groups about the Xamarin, MvvmCross and .NET coding languages in Dutch cities Amsterdam, Einhoven and Hengelo.

Building a Xamarin community in Luxembourg

The team was keen to extend the community further by creating a Xamarin meet-up group in Luxembourg. “We’ve found that connecting developers through fun and informal events has been a great way to foster inspiration within our team and the local community,” says Eric Slaagers, CEO of XABLU. “We’re very excited to branch out to Luxembourg and plan to host regular events here such as meet-ups and hackathons for app developers,” he continues. Microsoft Visual Studio is an integrated development environment first introduced in 1997 and now used to create mobile apps as well as web sites, web apps and computer programs. The highly anticipated 2017 edition will be revealed in a live stream from Microsoft and community events held around the world on March 7.
