Co-organised by Le Village by CA Luxembourg, the Luxembourg Open Innovation Club (LOIC) coordinated by the House of Startups (HoST) and Silicon Luxembourg, the fifth edition is proud to announce the finalists of its open innovation competition.
Whereas most startup awards focus on rewarding the best startup active in a certain sector, the Village Awards celebrate the best collaborations between startups and large entities (corporates, ETIs and public players).
This year’s awards will select the best applicants among the following three categories: the most efficient, the most unexpected and the most responsible collaboration. A last category, the jury’s special mention, was reserved for the collaboration which touched the jury the most.
“Our goal is to highlight these successful collaborations and make sure they make the most of LOIC, Silicon Luxembourg and Le Village by CA’s networks to keep growing their activities with the ambition to become leaders in their field of activity,” says Amélie Madinier, CEO of Le Village by CA Luxembourg.

Access To New Collaborations
To stay competitive and continue their digital transformation, corporations need to find new ways to collaborate with innovative startups and thus open their innovation funnels to external contributors. This represents an opportunity for startups who are lacking funding and access to partners to grow and learn.
For another edition of Village Awards Luxembourg, Le Village by CA, the LOIC and Silicon Luxembourg collaborate to host the awards.
“Once again, we were very enthusiastic about discovering the quality of applications and collaborations that happened during the last months,” says Emilie Bechet, Corporate Innovation Coordinator at the House of Startups.
As a next step, the 8 finalists duos will record a professional video with Silicon Luxembourg, highlighting the story behind their collaboration. Finally, on 6 July, the winners will be announced during a networking event bringing together Le Village by CA and LOIC’s networks.
“The choice was not easy, and we would like to thank all the duos for having made themselves known to the Village Awards’ organisers,” concludes Charles-Louis Machuron, Founder and CEO of Silicon Luxembourg.
