Luxinnovation Joins Seeds Of Bravery Consortium

Luxembourg’s national innovation is to play an active role in integrating Ukrainian startups into the European ecosystem after joining the European Innovation Council’s Seeds of Bravery consortium.

Luxinnovation is one of 20 startup organisations and associations who were invited to help implement a €20m plan aimed at assisting the Ukrainian innovation community following the Russian invasion of Ukraine. 

The initiative will grant up to €60k to around 200 Ukrainian deep tech startups, along with advisory, networking and other support. 

The agency will lead the “Pan-European Integration and EU Portal”, one of seven work packages being implemented by the consortium. 

At the same time, Luxinnovation will co-lead two other work packages: “Facilitating Access to Financing” and “Market Discovery and Accelerated Procedure”. Inna Perepelytsya, Senior Advisor for Startup Acceleration at Luxinnovation, who will be in charge of the project for the agency, leading it from its launch in September to its end in September 2025.

“This collaboration promises a win-win outcome, benefiting Ukraine and also enriching the European startup landscape through increased interconnectivity and shared prosperity,” Luxinnovation CEO Sasha Baillie said.
