The LUXKO-Korea Business Center (KBC) was inaugurated at an official ceremony on 21 April in Steinsel, Luxembourg.

The launch was attended by several dignitaries, including the Honorary Consul, Jean Wagener, Chamber of Commerce, Ministry of Economy, Paul Wurth InCub, LBAN (Luxembourg Business Angel Network), and Family offices, who came together to support the LUX-KO business relationship for the next chapter in this challenging economic situation.

Britain’s departure from Europe has led more Korean investors and entrepreneurs to consider Luxembourg as a potential European launch pad. The LUXKO-Korea Business Center (KBC) aims to facilitate the entry of Korean ICT innovative tech companies into the European market by leading their business development and incorporation of the European HQ in Luxembourg.

LUXKO offers a turn-key system covering market development projects, technical support of after-sales, strategic partnerships, HR recruiting, and investor relation services. The LUXKO Business Center also supports Luxembourg companies looking for growth market partners from South Korea for their business development.

During the launch event, LUXKO founder Semi Park highlighted the importance of cross-border investment opportunities to bring innovations to Europe via Luxembourg and scale up for the EU market. She said: “This will create new jobs in Luxembourg and diverse Luxembourg’s vertical scale. The launch of the Korea Business Center will require more technical savvy business partners and investors who have a strong track record in the ICT field.”

The LUXKO-Korea Business Center provides a venue for B2B meetings related to both Korea and Luxembourg.
