LUXKO Partners With South Korean K-Accelerator And Brings 4 Startups To The Pitch Floor

LUXKO’s second Demo Day showcased four innovative startups from South-Korea as it joined forces with LBAN members for this cross border pitch event.

This event is part of a series of three consecutive events organized by LUXKO as part of a major initiative to bring together the Korean and Luxembourgish tech ecosystems.

LUXKO Consulting is partnering with K-Accelerator Co., Ltd., an accelerator based in South Korea to organize the second virtual Demo Day event on 24th Nov 2020. Register now online. The keynote speakers will be Stephan Peters (President of Luxembourg Business Angel Network (LBAN)), Mr. Taeyul Kim (Managing Director, NIPA National IT Industry Promotion Agency), Younhee Kim (Executive Director, LTIO, Luxembourg Trade and Investment Office in Seoul) and Sebastien Wiertz (Genenal Manager of Paul Wurth InCub (#InduTech))

The event would introduce the following four startups from South Korea who want to expand into the EU.

KN-US Co., Ltd

The company aims to protect and secure the personal spaces of individuals or entities with their hidden camera and eavesdropping detection products and services. In the future, they aim to provide a Big Data-based Counter Surveillance Security platform, which is currently under-development.

DeepVisions Inc

The startup aims to provide AI and computer vision-based software solutions for mobile and other camera-based devices to detect fine dust particulate levels in the surroundings in real-time. This will replace the hefty and costly dust level measurement devices that are being currently used.

Thingsflow Inc

Their chatbot app “hellobot” wants to relieve individuals from stress and anxiety by becoming their companion using Natural Language Processing and AI. With more than 3mn application downloads and around 60K users already, they want to spread joy and improve mental health around the globe.

DNeuro Inc

It wants to revolutionize wealth management with personalized AI-based solutions like the Geniegosm, a hybrid Robo-advisory platform that uses AI for digitalization of wealth management in the financial industry. Its hybrid structure allows the integration of human and Robo financial advisors in a single platform.
