Meet ILNAS At The Luxembourg House Of Cybersecurity

ILNAS, in collaboration with the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity(LHC), will be present regularly on the premises of the LHC in order on one hand to promote technical standardization aspects of cybersecurity and how the market can get involved, and on the other hand inform market actors on cybersecurity certification in the frame of the Regulation (EU) 2019/881 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 on ENISA (the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity) and on information and communications technology cybersecurity certification and repealing Regulation (EU) No 526/2013 (Cybersecurity Act, or CSA).

An ILNAS agent will be present at the LHC twice a month on Thursdays, and could also be available in an ad hoc manner (upon request in advance, or in conjunction with a specific event). The objective of this initiative is to give the market access to continuous information regarding cybersecurity technical standardization and CSA certification. Topics that could be discussed include :

  • Opportunities to participate in technical standardization (for instance via registering as a delegate in the National Standardization Commission NSC 01 – Cybersecurity);
  • The ecosystem of European and international technical standardization committees of importance to cybersecurity;
  • Consultation of specific standards, in particular through the ILNAS standards reading station at the LHC;
  • The certification framework set up by the CSA; and
  • The active and under-development CSA cybersecurity certification schemes.

Note that ILNAS has been designated as Luxembourg’s National Cybersecurity Certification Authority in the context of the CSA, and is also Luxembourg’s national standards body, while the LHC is a national cybersecurity agency, providing extensive cybersecurity expertise and solutions to SMEs and companies of all sizes as well as municipalities within the country.

The launch of this regular presence will happen on Tuesday, June 18th, 2024, on the occasion of the event “Info session – Luxembourg Cybersecurity Innovation & Development – Funding Programme”.
