The leader in long-term leasing, ALD Automotive Luxembourg, as well as Luxembourgish startup Moovee, decided to join forces to offer the first multimodal transportation portal for Luxembourgish companies—and in doing so integrate, via a single app, a sharing solution for cars, bikes, non-motored scooters and carpooling.

In the face of ever-rising traffic and stuffy public roadways, as well as a frustratingly limited access to parking spaces, ALD Automotive and Moovee decided to develop a service of growing need: shared transportation.
The leadership from both companies decided to collaborate in order to propose a full stack offer that integrates solutions for shared vehicles (namely cars, bicycles, and non-motored scooters) and carpooling at the professional level, and all this amalgamated under a single application. And yes, it’s available from your smartphone.
This agreement also allows the ambitious partners to offer the solution for shared cars, bikes and scooters on a fixed monthly rental fee. “The ability to offer our solution under a leasing contract with the support of ALD Automotive allows us to facilitate access for enterprises, mainly thanks to a monthly investment that includes all the operational services, including insurance, maintenance, roadside care, repairs, and reservations. In short, it’s a key solution in hand for our clients and their collaborators. Our offer is the fruit of much work and R&D, and it guarantees a unique experience for the user,” announced Sébastien Berthelot, founder and General Director at Moovee.

Moovee is the first multimodal transportation operator in Luxembourg. The startup supplies its clients and their collaborators with a complete transportation service, key in hand. Transportation services tend to consume themselves with the toss and tumble of restrictions and disagreements in traditional operational management. The company goal is to help build a world in which vehicles are no longer seen as a possession or asset, but as a service. “Let us be no longer individual vehicle owners. For ALD Automotive Luxembourg, the partnership will help complete its multimodal solution and offer a solution with coinciding simplicity, security, and integrity. The Moovee application allows users to visualize the accessibility of different vehicles (cars, bikes, scooters) and to claim them in a few simple clicks. The user interface maintains its integrity with a simple credential requirement: clients simply use their company badge and comply with the rules that their employer has defined. The portal also provides a way to facilitate transportation among colleges thanks to the carpooling feature.
