After establishing itself as the key operator in the shared mobility sector with its multimodal offer to companies, the startup based at Paul Wurth’s technological incubator in Luxembourg, InCub, has once again decided to break barriers in its field. It now offers the option for company employees to make a car cleaning appointment in a few clicks. We sat down with Sébastien Berthelot, one of the co-founders of the startup, to discuss in depth.
“Moovee offers ecologically-clean, chemical-free services with the premium touch that characterizes the young company.”
Cleaning, yes, but Mostly Ecological
If you take a closer look, there are more than a hundred companies and independents specialized in car cleaning in Luxembourg—there are 118 results if you enter the keywords “car cleaning” on a B2B directory (source: Editus). It must be said that in Europe, no country does better than Luxembourg when it comes to the number of cars per inhabitant: 662 per 1000 inhabitants (source: Eurostat), which comes out to 390,935 passenger cars for 602,005 inhabitants in the country. It should also be noted that 15% of the Luxembourgish car fleet concerns leased cars. Fully recognizing this, Moovee decided to tap the market and offer the most comprehensive service to businesses.
Extremely committed to reducing the carbon footprint, Moovee offers ecologically-clean, chemical-free services with the premium touch that characterizes the young company. After a cleaning session, vehicles are technically checked, tire pressures adjusted, and fluid levels checked.
“The startup has developed a new digital interface accessible to company employees wishing to offer this new service. Appointments are made in a few clicks on the platform.”
Moovee wants to rethink mobility around three points. First, owning a car is not the only way to enjoy it. Second, a car is not the only way to get around. Third, electric vehicles and soft mobility will bring more comfort and increase well-being for individuals and countries at large.
Very active with companies, the startup has developed a new digital interface accessible to company employees wishing to offer this new service. Appointments are made in a few clicks on the platform. Moovee then takes care of the rest, which includes cleaning the vehicle of course, but also by offering an alternative mobility solution on the day of the service: electric car, electric bike or electric scooter.
Moovee is as innovative in its approach as much in its tariffs. Though they have the classic “standard” formula, many subscription solutions allow the consumer to have a vehicle all the time clean at very advantageous rates. With a strong taste for innovation, Moovee intends to seduce Luxembourg companies. Who knows? Maybe they will expand beyond boarders soon.
